About Jillian
With a BFA in Visual Art Studies and a M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education, I have both fine arts training and two decades of teaching experience. I have studied sculpture, ceramics, printmaking and drawing with phenomenal teachers. I am a painter, with experience painting with oils, acrylic and watercolor on walls, paper, wood and canvas. I am an artist, weaving color and light and softness into my work and my relationships.

I am a mother of two fierce and funny kids who stretch my capacity for self-compassion and patience daily. I have honed my craft working with young children, learning to speak with impact and respect. I have attended countless conferences, workshops and trainings with Non-Violent Communication, Positive Discipline, and Orton-Gillingham early literacy work. With children, I primarily work with social-emotional skills to build the capacity for executive function skills to grow. The result is co-regulation at it's finest. I can help you do the same.
